Water Station Driving Directions for Volunteers - stations south to north
Ira Road - This water station serves runners as they make the turn-around for the marathon. Volunteers access this Water Station right off of Riverview Road.
From North or South: Riverview Road is accessed from I-77 via the Richfield (exit # 143) Wheatley Road/ (176). After exiting from I-77, drive east on Wheatley Road until it dead-ends on Riverview - turn south (right) and continue past Howe Meadow to Ira Road. Please park on the grass - follow signage.
Hunt Farm - This water station serves runners as they run on the Towpath Trail heading from both directions. Volunteers access this Water Station right off of Bolanz Road. Bolanz Road is just off of Riverview Road.
From North or South: Hunt Farm is accessed from I-77 via the Richfield exit (exit # 143) Wheatley Road/ (176). After exiting from I-77, drive east on Wheatley Road until it dead-ends on Riverview - turn south (right); be prepared to make a quick turn left onto Bolanz Road. Park along Bolanz RoadOak Hill - This water station serves runners as they run on the Towpath Trail heading in both directions. Volunteers access this Water Station right off of Riverview Road.
From North or South: Riverview Road is accessed from I-77 via the Richfield exit (exit # 143) Wheatley Road/ (176). After exiting from I-77, drive east on Wheatley Road until it dead-ends on Riverview - turn left (north) and drive north towards Peninsula. Water Station is located just off Riverview Road - north of Whealey Road - before the train tracks cross Riverview. Park along Riverview Road (facing north) and follow access dirt path to Towpath Trail. It is located north of "High Water" yellow sign - look for orange arrows.
Valley Picnic - This water station serves runners as they run on the Towpath Trail heading in both directions. Volunteers access this Water Station right off of Riverview Road.From North or South: Riverview Road is accessed from I-77 via the Richfield exit (exit # 143) Wheatley Road/ (176). After exiting from I-77, drive east on Wheatley Road until it dead-ends on Riverview - turn left (north) and drive north towards Peninsula. Water Station is located just off Riverview Road after the train tracks cross Riverview. Park in parking lot - Valley Picnic. Access to water station is north - walk about 1,000 feet - must follow grass dive - has chain blocking cars - cross RR tracks to trail.
Peninsula - This water station is located off Parking Lot for Lock 29. Park in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park trailhead parking. Set up tables at top of ramp - give clearance for runners - runners will run from both directions here. There is portalet at parking lot.
From the south: take I-77; exit at the Richfield exit (exit # 143) Wheatley Road/ (176). After exiting from I-77, drive east on Wheatley Road until it dead-ends on Riverview - turn left and drive north towards Peninsula. Turn right onto Rt 303 and park in the CVNP trailhead parking.
From the north - Take I-77; exit at the Miller Road exit (exit # 147) - head west (left); turn south (right) on Rt. 21; turn left (west) on Rt. 303 - park in the CVNP trailhead parkingBoston Store - This water station is located next to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park's Boston Store. Volunteers access this Water Station right off Boston Mills Road, just off of Riverview Road. Park in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park trailhead.
From the south: take I-77; exit onto Rt 21 (exit # 145). Prepare to turn right (east) onto Boston Mills Road. Turn left (north) onto Black Road for short trip over bridge; then turn right (east) back onto Boston Mills Road. Drive down, through Riverview Road intersection, over the Cuyahoga River bridge . Park in the CVNP parking located to your right after the bridge.
From the north - Take I-77; exit at the Miller Road exit (exit #147) - head west (left); turn south (right) on Rt. 21; turn left on Snowville Road - drive to bottom of hill; turn right (south) on Riverview Road; turn left (east) on Boston Mills Road. Park in the CVNP parking located to your right after the bridge.Red Lock - This water station is located off Vaughn Road. Volunteers access Vaughn Road from Riverview Road. .
From the south: take I-77; exit onto Rt 21 (exit # 145). Proceed down Rt. 21 to Snowville Road; turn right (east) and drive to bottom of hill; turn left (north) on Riverview Road; turn right (east) on Vaughn Road. Park along Vaughn Road;
From the north - Take I-77; exit at the Miller Road exit (exit #147) - head west (left); turn south (right) on Rt. 21; turn left on Snowville Road - turn left (north) on Riverview Road; turn right (east) on Vaughn Road. Park along Vaughn Road;Carriage Trail - This water stop is located between Station Road and Red Lock (Vaughn Road) and must be accessed by the Towpath Trail. Volunteers will drive and park at Red Lock and walk/ride their bike to the Water Station.Driving Directions - see Red Lock.
Station Road Bridge - This water stop is located just beyond the historic Station Road Bridge.
From North or South: Take I-77; exit onto Rt 82 (exit # 149) - EAST. Turn east, past Rt. 21 and enter Cleveland Metroparks Parkway to Riverview Road. Cross road into Station Road Bridge parking area.
